Peeter Parts, oven master
Peeter Parts – a man who always has your back.
Peeter is one of the four furnace masters of Ahja Moodulahi. Peeter is a kind and hard-working young man, who is only 25 years old and still has found the time to acquire all driving licence categories. Keep on reading to find out how Peeter became a part of Ahja Moodulahi, how does he prefer to spend his free time and which are Peeter’s favourite aspects of his job.
1. When did you start working in Ahja Moodulahi?
I started working at Ahja Moodulahi in the summer of 2017.
2. What is your position in the company?
My job is to install modular furnaces.
3. Which is the path that led you to Ahja Moodulahi?
I was studying in Tartu Vocational Education Centre to become an oven builder and needed a company where to carry out my apprenticeship. Luckily, my very good friend Keivo was already working at Moodulahi. Thanks to Keivo I was able to complete my apprenticeship and I have been working at Moodulahi ever since.
4. What do you like most about your job?
I find that this job is very adventurous and it is most interesting to “discover” our small Estonia. Installing furnaces on islands is especially exciting. We went to Naissaar in 2018 and had the chance to go to Ruhnu in 2019. Even more so, I can no longer count the occasions we have visited Saaremaa and Muhumaa.
5. Describe yourself as a person!
First and foremost, I would say that I am very dutiful, and I always respect set dates and times. When it comes to my job, I cherish the prospect of new challenges.
6. What do you do in your spare time?
As much as I have it, I fill my spare time with different sorts of construction works: build chimneys and chimney stacks, walls, some internal construction works, furniture and everything else. I also enjoy camping, fishing and visiting rallycross events.
7. Do you or any of your friends or family have an Ahja Moodulahi at home?
I have the furnace “Juku” at home and my friends and family have some furnaces, too.
